No. "Religious organizations" ("church " is legal jargon for a type of corporation (see IRS Publication p1828, Glossary p.33) are not Christ's ekklesia because Christ's ekklesia is "not of this world" as opposed to decidedly incorporated into this world.

It's not a matter of location, it's a matter of who one chooses to stand with. NO one needs "Articles of Incorporation" to do God's work. In fact, to join with (yoke with) the faithless is the antithesis of being faith-full, which is what 2 Corinthians 6:14 and the context in which it appears is all about.

Most people neglect the fact that churches join the State in the same way Constantine or the Church of England ever mixed God's people into State apparatus. Again, mixing is the opposite of holy. Mixing is the opposite of "come out from among them"(2 Cor 6:17/Rev 18:4).

Yoking with the faithless is serious business and it's the most pervasive and common sin among Christians today. If one is going to speak about churches and their works at all - one best consider "Lord, Lord, didn't we...?"

No one does God's will their own way. If we're joined with the faithless, we are not faith-full.
